One of the greatest all-in-one company management software is 'Odoo,' which helps you to meet all of your business demands. A custom built eLearning module is also included in the ERP to help create a better learning environment. The platform will enable you to manage all of your eLearning activities and operations in a more advanced manner, allowing you to deliver a better candidate experience.
In this blog, we will discuss how Odoo helps you to manage your online courses.
First and foremost, you must include the eLearning program into your database. You may immediately begin using the module after completing the installation process. The Odoo eLearning module's main dashboard window is an overview window where you can see all of the eLearning courses you defined previously on the platform. The window is seen in the screenshot below.
This is the eLearning dashboard window's Kanban view, where we may see the courses in a box or card format. Each of these cards represents a course and includes a brief description. Each of these courses has a VIEW COURSE button that will take you to the front end of that course.
Let's go ahead and click the VIEW COURSE button to see the Basics of Gardening course that has been mentioned on the site. The window is seen in the image below.
You may view a variety of alternatives in addition to the VIEW COURSE button, such as the options for reading the reviews, Views, Duration, Contents, Attendees, and Finished. Under the course name, the Tags connected with the course are also displayed. Furthermore, a drop-down menu is provided. This may be accessible by hovering your mouse over the three dots in the right upper corner of each course. When you choose the three dots, you will be presented with a dropdown menu, as seen in the figure below.
Delete, Edit, Lessons, Invite, and Mail Attendees are just a few of the choices available from this drop-down menu. The delete icon will allow you to delete the course, while the Edit option will allow you to make modifications to it. The course contents window is accessed via the Lessons option in the drop-down menu. The Invite button may be used to send invitations through email. The default mail invitation is detailed here, along with the recipients you can provide.
Returning to the dropdown menu, the Mail Attendees menu allows you to send mailings to the Attendees as well. Furthermore, you are supplied with a variety of colors, which you may utilize to quickly identify the course.
To grasp all elements of the Odoo eLearning module, we may now click on one of the courses offered on the site, Basics of Gardening. The graphic below shows an overview of the Basics of Gardening course.
On the top of this window, you can see the title of the course (Basics of Gardening). You may see the different tags under the course title, such as Basic, Gardner, Quiz, and Dog Friendly. These categories are used to categorize and filter the courses that are shown. You can see an image related to the course on the right side of the window. You may examine the many materials that have been explained under this course on the Content tab of the window. The different contents contained in the course are listed here, along with their titles, types of content, and duration. In addition, the amount of Views, Previews, and Published may all be shown. You may add many sorts of material in the Odoo eLearning platform, such as slideshows, infographics, documents, quizzes, and many more features.
The course description may be found on the Course Description tab of the course window. Under this page, the Odoo platform allows you to write a description of your course.
You may choose the course type under the Options tab. The course type is Training in this case. Then you may name the person who will be in charge, as well as the website where the course will be published ( if you have multiple websites on the platform). The Enroll Policy can be specified under the Access Rights section. This can be configured to be open to the public, by invitation only, or by payment only. Allow Rating can be enabled or disabled under the Communication menu. Members can either like the material and leave comments on the documentation course or leave comments and reviews on the training course if you enable this option. Furthermore, the Forum may be assigned using the drop-down option. Finally, under the Display menu, you can choose whether the course is visible to the public or exclusively to members.
Now we may talk about the options that are accessible under the Karma tab. You may examine the Karma points defined for the applicants for their different levels of course completion in the Karma page of the course Basics of Gardening. Karma points are reward points that are established for applicants on the Odoo eLearning platform to evaluate their performance at various stages of course completion. These Karma points may be earned while grading the course by answering questions or sessions, asking questions or voting on lessons, and many other activities.
Let's have a look at the smart buttons that are present in the window now. Go to Website, Forum Posts, Reviews, Attendees, Finished, Mail Attendee, Visits, and contents are among the clever buttons available. In the picture below, the smart buttons are highlighted.
